2025 Larkspur Historical Society Officers
Nicole Tahmindjis is a fourth-generation Colorado native with deep roots in the state. She is a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, having traced her ancestry back to a patriot who served in the American Revolution. For the past nine years, Nicole has been an active member of the Larkspur Historical Society. She has been in the real estate industry for over 30 years. Nicole, along with her husband and two daughters, has called Douglas County and the surrounding area home for the past 22 years.
Kim Greer moved to Castle Rock in the fifth grade and graduated from Douglas County High School in 1979. After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines, she worked in the defence and telecommunications industries. Kim was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT with the Larkspur Fire Protection District for ten years. She has lived in the “Divide County” since 1983, and her children are 6th-generation Colorado Natives. In her free time, Kim volunteers with both Douglas County Open Space and Douglas Land Conservancy. She is also an avid ultrarunner.
Jim Weglarz is a founding member and president of Historic Douglas County, Inc., a member of the Larkspur Historical Society, a Castle Rock Senior Center volunteer, a National Western volunteer, and currently heads the Douglas/Elbert Task Force’s Senior Food Program. Jim and his wife, Jane, have resided in the Cherry Valley area for over 15 years.
Bill & Bev Noe – Historians
Bill is a fourth of seven generations of Douglas County’s pioneering Noe family of the Larkspur area. Now retired, Bill has worked as a Douglas County Planning Director, Lockheed Martin project planner, and a quality assurance member for Aerospace Corporation during his long career. Bill is a lifetime member and former webmaster of the Larkspur Historical Society. Bill and his wife, Beverly, both have pioneer roots in the Divide Country.
Larry Schlupp is a longstanding member of Historic Douglas County, Inc., Larkspur Historical Society, and Colorado Preservation, Inc. Larry had a long career in the telecommunications industry in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada. Larry lives in Perry Park, a resident of Colorado since 1993, and member of Journey Church in Castle Pines.
